Welcome to TOWNSVILLE PRIMARY SCHOOL SPORT

Townsville Primary School Sport (TPSS) oversees all primary school sport in Townsville. TPSS provides sporting opportunities for both State and Non-State School students in thirteen different sports. All of Townsville's 43 Primary Schools are participants in at least one of these thirteen sports.

The Interschool Sporting Season is broken into 3 x 7 week seasons. Fixtures are conducted within school time with Thuringowa District schools playing Thursday and Townsville District schools playing Friday.

One of the aims of Townsville Primary School Sport is to provide children with experiences in a variety of sports.
